George Emory Crain

	George Buddy Emory Crain, 68, of Gilbertsville, Kentucky passed away at his home on Wednesday, February 2, 2000 at 3:15 p.m.  He was born April 21, 1931 and was a native of DuQuoin.
	Mr. Crain was a retired conductor from the ICG Railroad and a former DuQuoin City patrolman.  He was a membe rof Kentucky Lake Mission Church, Briensburg Masonic Lodge and Rizpah Shrine Temple in Madisonville, KY.
	He was preceded in death by his parents; Harold Icky Crain, Gladys Bishop Crain and one grandson, Paul Eberhardt.  He is survived by his wife Janet Simpson Crain of Gilbertsville, Kentucky; six children, Harold Crain of Haggerstown, Maryland, Gaye Feazel, Brett Crain and Jane Mydler of DuQuoin; Lynn Wurth of Boaz, Kentucky and Anne Eberhardt of Johnston City and his brother, Robert Crain of Collinsville and .  He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
	Funeral services were Friday, February 4 at 11 a.m. at Kentucky Lake Mission Church with Rev. Danny Holt officiating.  Interment was in Moreland Cemetery in Gilbertsville, KY.
	Friends were able to call at Collier Funeral Home, Inc. in Benton, KY on Thursday after 5 p.m.
